Tooth Implant without surgery

A tooth is extracted and after couple weeks dentist put an implant in
the existing hole. Technique is pretty cheap. Doesn't need surgery.
I'm interesting what are the risks, generally and particularly with
this technique.

Its couple methods and many types of implants.
It is possible.Event is possible to make temporary implants or imnplants
"through the gum"
