Anecdotal.
Patients tell me how much they paid for a denture at the dental school
........ no bargain.

Do a google on it. For example rates for UCLA School of Dentistry
procedures can be found on their web site.

I too have memories of my schooling, not fond at all.
We were responsible for collecting the $$ for the treatment. I did a cast
partial for the Dean's sister-in-law. I was told not to worry about collecting
from her. When push came to shove, I lost credit for the unit because she did
not pay. I found out too late to pay for her myself just to keep the credit for
work completed.
