Wife has now had two adjacent back teeth removed. I don't believe there are
any complications like infections. How soon after would you normall consider
doing implants and crowns?

12 weeks for implants. Depending on the implant system, crown
(temporary) same day or delayed 4-6 months.

It's practically all I use, though it's hard to keep track with all the
name changes, buyouts etc--core vent, centerpulse--
I think the prosthetics make a lot of sense.  But I have minimal
experience restoring other systems.

For me, its six of one...half-a-dozen for the other. The restorative
part is where it gets tricky between the different systems.  I didnt
like a few months ago where Zimmer had back order problems. Their bone
graft materials are decent but I usually place NobelBiocare or 3i.
