I need to remove a FXBR the has come loose on one abutment (6). It is
retained by 2 abutments at the distal end(3&4).        it was cemented with
Fuji-plus about ! year ago. Any new tricks up anybody's sleeve. All ideas
appreciated. Steve

I doubt that he'll understand your advice without elaboration.

There is a crown removal system where you drill a hole in each
crown and thread a screw into that hole.  Turning the screw
*usually* pops the crowns loose.  I just can't think of the name
off hand.

I have had very poor results trying the old 'gear puller' device
to remove crowns cemented with newer type cements.

If it's a bridge that I have cemented with Rely-X, (luckily a
very rare occurence) I usually just get out a bur and start cutting.

I have used this instrument with reasonably good success.  It doesn't
always work, but is better than the back-action hammers or Richwill
crown removers, for sure.  I've often used them for exactly the
application you need it for.  I find that I use it maybe once a week.
