I noticed a post about 3 years ago concerning a "natural therapy" using
a product called "peri gum" http://www.peri-gum.com/index.htm

Its web site claims that dentists use it ( a common claim with dental
product advertisements ).

Anyone here used it? What results were obtained? Teeth fallen out as
predicted by one poster, or problems solved as suggested by the web
site?

Direct quote from web-site:

"Recently, a clinical study of PERI-GUM® completed at a leading northeastern
dental school research center showed impressive results.  According to the
clinical study:  "

When you see a claim to a study, but no name given for the school, and no
reference to the actual research, then, you know it is bogus.

"Bloodroot -helps reduce plaque"

This herb has some limited effect on gingivitis, but not that much.  The
other ingredients are un-proven.  20 years ago, the Bloodroot herb was
thought to be the next great thing which would transform dentistry.
Research then showed it to be of little actual use.

$17 USD for one ounce.

You might be better off paying for chelation treatment to remove the mineral
unobtanium from your body.

Many thanks for the comments from those offering competing services,
but are there any comments from people who have tried this product?
Maybe no one has tried it, or maybe no one will own up to having tried
it? But it seems to have been offered for at least three years and the
company hasn't gone out of business.

I heard there was a shortage of the product and existing customers are
not supposed to tell others how nicely it works ......
