Respected Sir,

I am a BDS 3rd year student from Chennai, India.  Recently, I have seen
a clinical case of my friend's father who lost his teeth number 22 &
23.  He wanted me to fabricate an RPD (without any framework, as he
needs to replace that with an FPD sooner).  The critical thing in
constructing the acrylic resin base is his lower anteriors are
impinging on the hard palate.  So, I should relieve that area.  I want
to know, the posterior extension of the denture base and the use of any
clasps (wrought wire claps only as it is temporary).  Your quick and
kind reply will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Vinay
