I bought a couple dentist drills from the garage sale.
The first one was a Foredom #7. It's pretty cool because of all the
pulleys, belts and arms. All it needed was a belt which Foredom
still has available.
Now this one's a tougher challenge. It's a Kerr Electro Torque. It's
a chrome speed control that sits on the floor with a foot paddle. The
drill is actually run by a small electric motor at the top of the
handpiece. The drill snaps into a the handpiece mount at the base of
the motor.
I'd like to get an angled drill head for the Kerr. Right now it's
straight. I see a website for Kerr Dental but there's no mention of
drills.
Anyone know of a "boneyard" for old dentist drills that sells parts
cheaply?
I'm not a practicing dentist and I can't even get a volunteer to test
out my drills. The wife and dog have already fled the country.

You should be able to get a 'doriot style' contra-angle attachment.
It can be either a latch head or friction grip.
What you need would depend on your intended use.
Any chance of a picture of the handpiece in question ?

Model work?
Post a picture of the handpiece and the burs you plan to use in it. Tell us
where the images are posted to as most of us cannot get binaries on the NG.
We should be able to tell you if the parts are available new.

My condolences for the wife and dog. If you have a dental supply house
in your area, they should be able to find what you need for you.
Otherwise, ask the local dentist to contact his own suppliers.
