I've been pretty new to the newsgroups, less than 2 years, and have
been having a look around at other groups.

Did you ever notice how some people embed links in their messages?
And, if you hover the mouse cursor over the link, and look at the
bottom of the web browser, a differnt links shows up, many times a
suspicious one, I think that the author want you to click on it to
download a worm or virus...

Boasting about getting easy, free money, and tricks like that.

Download Microsoft Antispyware - http://tinyurl.com/47cus - and keep it
and your antivirus up to date. In 99% it'll defend you pretty darn
well. You can't do anything about cybersquatters except, as you are
doing; use common sense.

A good example of a typosquatter/cybersquatter was John Zuccarini. He
registered www.dinsey.com (typo of Disney) and opened a porn site on
it. John's actions bought him the special attention of the FTC with 1.8
million in penalties and a little trip to Club Fed...

People like John can make your computers a HIPAA nightmare.
