I've noticed for some time now that Tom Arnold's speech sounds as
though he can't breathe through his nose at all.
I know he snorted megamounts of cocaine back in the day and has
supposedly been free of the stuff for quite a few years.
But it seems like his speech became all stuffy sounding like that a
long time _after_ he quit doing drugs.
I'm really curious about what the condition he has is called, and what
caused it; not to mention the fact that since he's rich and famous he
could (& should) get it fixed, since he makes his living talking in talk
shows and movies and always sounds like he has a really bad cold.
Never heard anyone address this although I think it's very obvious and
annoying.  He almost seems to get winded just talking.
I figured the D.D.S. community would have a pretty clear understanding
of it (plus I wouldn't know who else to ask).

Is there an ENT (Ear Nose & Throat) group?

No, there was no ENT group, at least that I could find.  Even tried
otorhinolaryngology (longshot I know).

Try alt.support.sinusitis for a regular ENT.
