About half the size of a molar. The thing that worries be is that it may be
sharp.

Now what? How often does this result in an emergency hospital visit or
eventually, a surgery to remove it? I hope the damn thing just passes,
without cutting me all up.

Finally getting my permanent teeth tomorrow.

Load up on some bread or something similiar to carry it on out.  I've seen a
few dogs swallow a treble hook loaded with stinkbait, the same trick worked
for them. They do get a funny look though when 10 lb line is still hanging
out of their mouth.

My internet guess is you will be fine.

Do not worry, in the morning your part of crown will see the light!
Peristaltic movements stops on sharp edges, and continues after.
This is vegetative muscular rule No1.
HCL in stomach is so strong that ceramics edges will be unsharpened.

All the best,

Drink lots of fluids and maybe even some fibrous stuff, prunes would be the
best!  This will help move "things" along quickly.  With having crohn's I
have problems with constipation so I have learned how to get the system
moving.  Just so you know, I am not a dentist.  UM MOM Susan
