I had my wisdom teeth removed and subsequently developed an infection.
The dr. (oral surgeon) prescribed some antibiotics and cleaned the
infection out.
The pain is pretty much gone (been about a week, finished off the
antibiotics) but I seem to have a sore throat now. My question is, is
it possible that the infection survived the antibiotics and moved to my
throat? Or is it more likely that I just happened to develop a sore
throat in an unrelated situation? There's no swelling, and the only
pain is the sore throat itself.
