I know this isn't the ear place, but this happens when I chew as well,
so you can help me out anyway. :)  When I move my left ear up and down
with my fingers, there's a "spongy" sound in my ear, almost as if my
ear has a little bit of water in it.  But, I know it doesn't.  As I
said before, this also happens when I chew, although not as greatly.  I
did stop cleaning my ears with q-tips a few months back after reading
that it wasn't a good idea to do.  Could this be wax build-up?

What does your right ear do?

Right ear does absolutely nothing...no "squishy" sound or anything when
I move the ear ear with my hand.  I should mention that the squishiness
in my left ear doesn't bother me, but I am curious about what causes
it.

Not possible to command from a distance specifically. Maybe, you are
describing Crepitus.   If so, find a provider on
www.headacheprevention.com

Have a friend look in your ear with a flashlight and check for anything
that looks orange or brown like a plug of wax.  Maybe you can do it
yourself with a couple of mirrors.
