6-year old with cross-bite

My 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with cross-bite. The doc said that
treatment can start in a year or so. I googled for more info but I did
not find much. What kind of treatments exist and how effective are
they?

There are MANY types of cross bites, and it really is impossible to give any
useful information without seeing the patient. If you have any questions,
make sure you ask your dentist/orthodontist, and if you want a second
opinion, that's always a good idea to put your mind at ease.
