I am using Softdent ver7.7 - yes it is very old but it was doing
everything I wanted a software program to do very well. This week I
upgraded my hardware from an old 486 running win98 to a Pentium 4
running winXP Pro. To my surprise (and glee) Softdent 7.7 works very
well under XP with one glaring exception. I have been printing labels
(for folders, recall cards etc) on an old dot matrix printer. Now, the
label prints properly but Softdent tells the printer the page is 11"
long instead of 1 inch. After printing a label the tractor feeds about
10 blank labels before stopping to print the next one. ANY
SUGGESTIONS short of upgrading the software? Thanks in advance.

Set a custom page size under printer properties, or in the Softdent software.
