I know a person who had six surface type fillings about two years ago.
Within about six months three had fallen off and were replaced. There were
two repeats of this in the following year, one with a second dentist, and
not all the same three teeth were involved. Less than two years on there
were 5 out and a third dentist was consulted. His opinion was that the first
two dentists did not properly condition the teeth with a laser before
applying the filling.
One of these teeth previously had a filling for over 20 years.
Comments on this would be appreciated.
In particular, what is the best way to do these and how many years can
resonably be expected from them?
TIA
