I'm having crowns put in and my dentist showed me the temporary fitting
I will wear until the permenant crowns are installed. The piece is
"rubbery" in appearance, not white. Is this the normal color or will
the temporary piece be "whitened" before installed?

The temporary will be thrown away when the final crown comes from the lab.

Hey Steve B. !!!!!  What's a temporary?
