Oh I agree, it is ON TOPIC spam, but spam all the same.  I have no problem
with people doing businss here, it is the "hit and run" aspect that I object to.
These people apparently care nothing about you, I, and the rest of the SMD
family.  They just want to deposit their excretions of free advertising on our
heads and move on!

I agree Vaughn. You have to register to browse what is for sale. I thought that
"I'll show you mine if you show me yours" mentality was only a childhood stage.

I have trouble characterizing spam (or the act of spamming) as "sincere
effort".

Unopposed spam could shut down the Internet as we know it.  More to the
point for smd, it would be especially easy to clog the Usenet with spam to the
point where it was totally useless.  I believe a handful of determined spammers
could accomplish it.  Of course, there would be no profit, which might be
exactly why it has not happened.

Here is a similar one in St. Petersburg, Russia.

http://www.emedi.ru/eng_medi/tours.html

1. Russia
2. Bazaar in India
3. Dr. Lily in Thailand

Who sez we got the dental market locked up?

Joel

Joel, check the prices charged at the Russian site. No savings.

Their St. Petersburg clinic charges even more than their Moscow clinic
for most procedures. Can you imagine flying to Russia for sealants at
$70 per tooth in St. Petersburg? Or $120 PER TOOTH for sealants in
Moscow?

If they have to excavate for caries and place a filling instead of a
sealant, the price is even higher!

Heck, I would advise the Russians to fly to San Diego for their
savings!

....and what if the filling was a little high?
Does that mean I have to use up all my
frequent flyer miles to go back to get it adjusted?

Actually, the internet tells us that quality dentistry,
similar to what we espouse is available all around the globe.
