How nasty dentists are. These boys don't want to take responsibility for anything. Everything seems to be the patient's fault. The fact that such a high % are sued should tell you something. It's even higher than cosmetic surgery an area where you would expect a high % of disgruntled patients. If a patient comes in, for example, with a molar obviously on the way out does the dentist really tell him the chances of success in saving the tooth? Is it greater than 50%? Or does he tell him to do root canal, posts, crowns etc that he knows have a greater than 50% chance of failing, because he's a general dentist and it's $$$$ for him. Perhaps he should tell the patient to extract the tooth and place an implant which cannot decay and had a much better chance but then he would only receive his kickback referral fee from the surgeon rather than the fee for all the useless work. Most cases of "malpractice" are not malpractice, they are people having unrealistic expectations (I neglected my teeth for years, but my dentist missed a cavity a month ago, how do I sue), and poor communication. Sure there is sometimes poor and/or over aggressive treatment, but such cases represent a small percentage of those that prompt law suits. Your behavior in this group, which seems to serve little purpose other than annoying people, seems to be a fine example of the standards some attorneys have. There are undoubtedly many fine, ethical, and honest attorneys, then there are bottom feeders like yourself, who seem proud to be a "shyster" and find joy in irritating people for sport. I am sure there are dentists that are similar in temperament, but I'd imagine they are probably acting like imbeciles and trolling some law NG . T > > How nasty dentists are. I also have had good attorneys and lousy ones. You are a ambulance chaser and have no shame and your info is bull. You say what is in YOUR best interest in hopes of getting people to sue. Like I said before you are a waste of space and have no shame. From what I have seen, the dentists here have been more polite than you and should have told you to get lost.
