A new Japanese study concludes the MMR vaccine is not responsible for the
rise in autism after experts found autism cases had doubled after the
vaccine had been withdrawn. However, scientists said they cannot rule out
that it may increase the risk for a small number of children who might be
more genetically susceptible to the disorder.
