On friday night i was jumped by about 4 guys, i got hit in the jaw, the
next day i couldnt eat anything but apple sauce, now i can eat with
little if any pain. i went to the doctor he says it looks like my jaw
isnt broken, however my teeth feel off i cant bite my nails and when i
close my mouth it feels like its all resting on one back tooth, i was
wondering if i should get a second opinion or do you think i should
just give it some time

Go to an Oral surgeon ASAP and get proper x-ray images done.  You could
easily have a fracture near the joint.  Otherwise, you have swelling in the
joint space.  Those are my guesses from a distance.

Sounds like good advice.

Get another opinion! I have had patients come to my office for what the MD
who initially examined them referred to as "follow up care" only to find
they had undiagnosed jaw fractures. One young man had been in a car accident
and had upper and lower jaw fractures yet was sent home from the ER without
any care for these fractures. See on oral surgeon for the next opinion.

I saw a patient one time who fractured off most of his central incisor in a
car accident.  The ER sewed his lip up with the tooth inside his lip.

I can understand instances where dental issues are missed when there are
other life threatening injuries that pre-occupy the ER team, but in the
cases I encountered, it seems the dental and facial bone examination was
incomplete or non-existent. Not good!

So how would you get to it to whiten it?

(Everybody needs all their teeth whitened you know).
