I do know how to define the acronym although I ventured a few guesses
(privately). Then I looked for some dentistry and found a post that
seemed to be calling out for a reply (Re: is this TMJ?)
The thread has continued for quite a few posts and I've done my best not
to ask "estea" the age-old question; you know, the one that always gets
me in trouble? But, I'm going to ask it here in your thread instead!!
What does the question, "is this TMJ?" mean to the person asking the
question? IMHO, that would fall into the realm of "dental discussion".
Personally, I think "estea" isn't really asking "is this TMJ?" I think
that just a headline ...

The point is well-taken. If we bash NANAE but don't deposit on-topic
posts into the newsgroup, then what are we accomplishing? I am
guessing, but I don't like any ideas I'm coming up with --
