I'm sorry to hear about your staffing problem/s. Maybe your hygienist
will send you a replacement????

The check (cheque) is best destroyed at this end, I think. That way you
won't have to worry about it getting back in your hands. So go ahead
and void it from your book.

It was important to me that I was able to find a way to let it be known
that as much as we all have our own stories ... the hidden or invisible
population depends upon the courage of others to tell their stories for
them. I only wish I could have done a better job of it -- but the book
was like a casserole; everything tossed into one dish and you get what
you get. The book was never meant to tell a sanitized version of
anything and OTOH, it wasn't meant to embellish any version either.
Thank you very much for taking time from your busy family life and
practice to read up on a little bit of history.

As time was dragging you all through this turmoil, it WASN'T a
sanitized, textbook version of some esoteric malady, but a prison
sentence (and for a few, even a death sentence). If anything at all, it
should teach dentists that their actions have consequences, and that
professional responsibility should make them think twice about
performing ANY treatment.
You know, it'd be pertinent to produce an interview type documentary
with you, some other patients and a dentist or other moderator who is
familiar with the history. (Say Steve Fawks, who seems to have been
there from the get-go). A DVD of that interview could become required
listening for dental students.

My pleasure and my gain. It wasn't hard... The Mother in Law's place is
not in a city but in a small town outside Rimouski , and my Sympatico
connection isn't portable; thus the time I would have spent at night
writing silly things on the SMD was spent reading your book. That was
why I was in such a hurry to get it before we left for the Xmas
holidays.

So save it to your iBook and play it back when you're in a bum mood. I
did that with the Bright side of Life song and the Lumberjack Song,
whick you can get by going to the original web page (with the link I
posted in the address bar, just back space over the part after the web
site).
Cheers

I truly appreciate your comments. What the future might bring is
anyone's guess at this point.
I'm off to babysit the baby for a week. That should be fun. :-)
