I don't know if this link will provide the Text version of the .pdf but
please try it.

3.pdf

If not, search at http://www.fda.gov using alendronate and osteonecrosis
and you should be able to obtain the ODS Postmarketing Safety Review May
6, 2004.

Interesting to note that due to the war in Iraq, military dependents can
no longer get fosamax at base pharmacies.

You know how many soldiers need fosamax

I think I'm missing the point you wish to make.  Soldiers (Army) on
active duty?  I hope none.  Dependents and retirees from all branches of
service?  I don't know how many.  Do you?  Please share what you're
thinking.

Doesn't matter how many dependents and retirees from all brances of
service, as none of them can get it at base pharmacies. The signs said
"due to the war..."

Make your own conclusions. Either they are giving the fosamax to active
duty soldiers or they are cutting back on benefits to dependents and
retirees. Both options are scary, the latter even more so.
