The desired goal: To provide a location on the internet for in-depth and
organized discussion of a particular topic. In this case, the topic is
the TMJ iatroepidemic. Whether the venue of choice is a website or a
BLOG, I need to be certain that those who wish to participate with me in
studying this subject, informally but seriously, can do so in an
environment that is respectful of the ideas and opinions of others.
The purpose of the project: There is currently no place on the internet
that I have located where anyone has sought to describe or question the
existence of a TMJ iatroepidemic. Some might contend that it is because
such does not exist. My position on this matter begins and ends with a
single question: Does an iatroepidemic associated with the TMJ exist?
The question is intended to serve as an opening of the door to
discussion. It is not intended to be an unquestionable statement of
existence.
For this reason, I remain willing to continue with the project that I
began in the 1980s. Before too long, I will "celebrate" having sought
to understand this question for twenty years.
For those of you who have added comment to my initial post on the
subject of the BLOG option as a tool for discussion, I thank you.
Realizing that this is the weekend, I am hopeful that as the new week
continues, there will be additional comments from readers. I don't wish
to rush into a publishing decision only to wish I had decided upon
something else. Above all, I want this project to be developed into
something truly worth the time of all who participate and/or read only.
I'll put up a few more posts asking for comments to some of the ideas
and details of my project. Most importantly, I am looking to readers
who have followed my posts long enough to realize my sincerity to this
subject matter. I want to take your interests and concerns into
consideration because I truly believed this to be a worthy project for
the benefit of all.
Sincerely,
Webby

There is another possibility at www.dentalcom.net where you can post
away to your heart's content. It may disappear fast though.
There are over 700 people who have signed up, but unfortunately an
active membership of only around two ..... plus or minus six.
