1. Use jpgs.

2. If its not a jpg, open it in MS-Paint and then save as NewFile.jpg

3. Go to tinypic.com and upload.

4. Save the URL. It will look like:

or

http://tinypic.com/23s1i0

The former is used to embed the graphic within certain web pages such
as DentalCom's.

This shows a graphic of the age distribution in the zipcode right next
to mine. Its valuable information for dental practices!

MS-Paint? What do we use if we use a non-infected OS?

iPhoto, Apple Works, Graphic Converter.  I think even preview works.

Actually, you don't even have to do that: TinyPic will automatically
depixelize your photos for you. All you have to do is send them and take
down the URL they give you.

Finally: take out the TRASHH

I have not tried Tinypic, but I wonder if you have checked out ofoto.com?
It is by Kodak and it is free!  It includes tools for photo touchup and you can
set up separate albums for just yourself, to share with an invited check-in, or
to share with the public.  Here is an example of one that I set up today for
another group.  http://tinyurl.com/5bo6d

So the deal is that if inflation skyrockets, Vaughn posted where he is
moving to control costs ........ its here, Ofoto is locking me out
'cause I cannot remember my password!

You should not have needed a password to see those pictures.

You must tell Ofoto, then.

In fact, Ofoto remembered me when I typed in my e-mail address as they
requested. They hashed in the password (well from my cookie jar) and I
thought all was well, until they said,

"Fooled ya. No go Charlie."

Wierd!  Nobody else reported any problems seeing those pix.  I suggest
that you do a "search and destroy" mission on that cookie.

Probably so .... they are sitting there thinking, "Eichen, eh? We'll
show him!"

Try to view the pictures by just ignoring Ofoto's request to log in. I
had the same problem until I just decided to ignore it.

When Ofoto sends you to the "sign in" page, just hit your browser's
BACK button and get back to the page that shows Vaughn's shed. Near the
bottom of the page is a button to "view photos." Click on that, and
watch the slide show.

Ofoto wants a sign-in, but if you just ignore it and go back to the
first web page showing Vaughn's shed, you can just look at the
pictures. The slide show can be stopped at any slide, and the Ofoto
site allows Vaughn to add a substantial caption to each picture.

Good-looking shed and generator, by the way. You may say it's only
semi-dry, but here in So. California, that's dry enough. We get storms
but no hurricanes.

I saw them fine, but I passed over quickly. What are you doing there;
generating electricity using natural gas?

You're right: the Ofoto concept is pretty good. I'll remember that for
when I need a lot of photos together.

The main advantatge of TInypic is that you log on; it asks you to browse
to your photo, you hit the upload button, and you're away. It
re-pixelizes automatically and gives you URL. You just drag that to your
desktop, and drag it into any message you want to send. If you want to
see what some of them look like, just browse here:
