White Cliffs of Dover
Melody - Walter Kent, 1941
Nat Burton
There'll be blue birds over
The white cliffs of Dover,
Tomorrow, just you wait and see.
There'll be love and laughter
And peace ever after
Tomorrow, when the world is free.
The shepherd will tend his sheep,
The valley will bloom again
And Jimmy will go to sleep,
In his own little room again.
There'll be blue birds over
The white cliffs of Dover,
Tomorrow, just you wait and see

A point of information: the original was written by an American who had
never been to UK. We have no Bluebirds - over white-cliffs of Dover or
otherwise :s

To be accompanied by the sound of a RR Merlin.

Don't wear dark clothing and don't look up at the birds. (a lesson
learned the hard way whilst on a Scottish ferryboat)
