Hello, I have fairly yellow teeth and Im dying to get them whitened!!!
I no very little of the methods in doing this so I am interested in
any information but also the drawbacks that whitening/bleaching may
have. By the way, I am 14, does this effect it in anyway?
thank you

    Hello!  I am not a dentist, but I want to leave you with a few thoughts.

1) I am very impressed that you are asking about the "drawbacks" of tooth
whitening.  Good thinking for a 14 year-old!  That said, I will leave that
question for the dentists to answer.

2) Remember that super-white teeth are not natural.  You don't want people
calling you "toilet tooth" behind your back because your teeth have been
bleached to the shade of your favorite plumbing fixture.  Any cosmetic effect
carried too far looks terrible.  Just think of that lady you saw with the
too-red lipstick that was smeared on way too wide.  The idea of cosmetics is too
enhance what you have just enough to leave things still believable.

3) Remember that tooth whitening is temporary.  Your teeth will eventually
return to their original shade.

Do it!

Try Vanna White first, if it does not work then get a good whitening
dentist.
