the image below shows a 2D image and a 3D profile to generate a 3D
view (or image). This 3D viewing is useful in case there is a
comparative quantitative analysis of any case (medical) suggested.
May I explain it so -
The patient does come to a date, e.g. to get whiter teeth. Take a
photo of the pre-treatment situation. If the treatment is finished
take a second photo of the result situation - to compare pre- and
post-treatment.
Further with a special Software you can simulate a possible result of
the treatment. This is effective for marketing - I think.
The described software isn't like the SIRONA Cerec3D, it is a tool to
analyse a situation, to sell the treatment and show & compare the
results.
