I just got braces 10 days ago (I'm 25.  Had them for 10 months when I
was 16, and now just getting them again in preparation for orthognathic
surgery in August).

Anyway, I swear that I can wiggle a few of my front teeth if I grasp
them with 2 fingers.  Is this normal???  I'm especially concerned b/c
my orthodontist noticed moderate root resorption in my pre-ortho
x-rays, but said that it wasn't severe enough to reconsider putting
braces on...is loose teeth a normal reaction to getting braces on, and
will my teeth "tighten up" in their new positions?

Slight mobility is to be expected

>and will my teeth "tighten up" in their new positions?

yes (unless there is sever root resorption, or other problems)
