I could not think of any other reason why a lay-person would want a book on
endodontics. Anyone who has done enough background to actually understand
what is in the book, would already know where to find a decent text on it.

Seriously, I've known plenty of patients who want to know EVERYTHING
about what is going on in their mouths. I try to accomodate them, up to
a point.
And then of course there are the do-it-yourselfers.
