I'd like to buy a good book on contemporary Endodontic techniques and
procedures. Can you recommend me where to start?

Wow, Steve--why so judgemental?  I mean, couldn't you just curl up in
bed with Pathways of the Pulp?

Well, maybe Ingle, Beveridge's "Endodontics".

I could not think of any other reason why a lay-person would want a book on
endodontics.  Anyone who has done enough background to actually understand
what is in the book, would already know where to find a decent text on it.

Seriously, I've known plenty of patients who want to know EVERYTHING
about what is going on in their mouths.  I try to accomodate them, up to
a point.
And then of course there are the do-it-yourselfers.
