Too bad you are screwed if you want to expose a size #3 or a size #4 image.
doesn't happen that often that I need these sizes, but I sure like having
the capability of using them.  But,,,,,,,,,,,,, for size #0,#1 & #2, that
device looks nifty.

Good point.

For others, this is an x-ray generator.

Looks like a good site for those who want to or are thinking about
going digital...

Now has a fully operational question and answer board.. example:

learndigital.net/qa/a_board.php

Dr. Miles: I am a recent graduate (2003) from San Antonio. I was a
student of both Dr. Langlais and Dr. Moore (What a great school). My
wife and I recently started a fully digitalized office with Schick
intra-oral and digital X-ray. We use Eaglesoft practice management
software. We are looking to include a digital pan and have been
informed of the new Schick panorex. We would appreciate your input as
to the quality of this machine which we were told would be about
$30,000. Thank you Jon M. Delsnyder, DDS

Answer
Hi Jon...you got some great training from those radiologists!!..I have
no experience at all with the Schick pan unfortunately...is this a
newly created panoramic...or is it CDRPan digital retrofit for
existing pans??? Let me know, Thanks, Dale PS..I too was a San Antonio
grad from the graduate prgoram...Dr. Glass and I were the first two
grad students from Dr. Langlais' program...!! Sort of the grandfather
and grandmother...sorry Birgit  PPS...I'd contact Dr. Walter Golub of
Schick Technologies to ask all Qs about the unit...he's a straight
shooter...
