Hey guys, I had a tooth extracted about 5 days ago now and although I'm not
in any pain (nor was I really in that much) I'm getting worried about the
space it's left. A large indent in my gum is still there and I believed
extractions are meant to sort of become a flat amount of gum between the
remainding teeth. I'm not sure if u follow me, but its like a big hole where
food can get trapped and the gum has healed so now its like ive got a crater
where my tooth used to be. Is this normal? Will this go away?

Thanks to any1 for any help.

It will be less as the bone remodels itself.

But a bridge would solve the problem.
