I'm new to this group...I've noticed many of the postings have nothing
whatsoever to do with dental things, but I'm posting here about a
dental thing. My mouth is a science project. In part, some of it has
deemed me the nickname Bond Queen due to extensive bondings, which
don't last of course. There are other bigger dental issues going on as
well. Does anyone know of any dental professional organization or
university, etc. that does Dental Makeovers at reasonable costs? Thanks

Is all this bonding for cosmetic purposes, or do you just have a mouth
full of restored decay? Why don't you think that this bonding is going
to hold up? I've seen old resin fillings done 18 years ago that still
are in pretty good shape today.
Mabye you could go to a dental school. Or you could save up for the
eventual replacement?

Hi Adenosine...Over the years, to transform ill-shaped teeth, bondings
have and are being done and redone...they simply do not hold up.
Fillings are one thing; tooth facings are what do not hold up. The
other teeth that had to be pulled weren't because there was tooth
decays but because the gums near those teeth were crummy. Gums around
remaining teeth are fine, according to xrays, the dentists, and they
look and feel fine also. Thanks for your input

What to you is a reasonable cost?
There is a cost to what needs to be done to get your mouth to look the
way you want.
Universities usually do not focus on makeovers and unless you see the
post graduate students hopefully the ones that have been practicing
regular dentistry for a few years not the ones that finished one
program and started the next, you won't get a makeover as seen on
television.

Hi...reasonable would be not 800.00 for a crown or 2000.00 for one
implant. thanks for your input.
