Silver Filling Stains Nightguard?

My clear nightguard has turned black in the place it rests on a silver
filling.  Is this normal?

This depends on who you talk to.. Personally, I don't think it is a
problem at all. You can ask your dentist to polish the silver filling,
this may help somewhat.
