Their SpywareBlaster is also recommended.

Thanks, I've got Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy on all my PCs.
Interesting, my kids were required to have these installed before they could
connect to their college network last fall.

Unfortunately, the colleges and public libraries are often times way
behind with their computer technology. At a library, they insisted
that all floppy disks be scanned on a standalone computer against
McAfee before use on their network.
I asked when was the most recent virus definitions profile update?
They said, "Oh its current. We updated in February."
This conversation occurred in June!

My solution is to ROLLBACK on WindowsXP.
It rolls back the settings so it looks like November 1, 2004, or
August 1, 2004 or whenever the 'puter was running better!
One time a very serious virus took over my entire computer, but guess
what? The computer actually ran quicker, because it disabled all the
Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, and everything else opt-in stuff that are
actually subtle viruses!
With the huge virus, it ran much faster!
The only problem was that I could not access my mail or anything else
in my favorites list. The HUGE virus redirected every request to their
site.
But it was quick!
So I had to rollback.
Here's a great software idea:
A program that you purchase that will disable all the Google, Yahoo,
and Microsoft goings on that slow down your computer.
