Hi! I would like to post a question.
What do you like to find in a NEW application for dentists?
Thanks.

What kind? Computer or lawn rejuvenator?
Joel
Luca,
Are you referring to a job application to work as a dentist? Or, are you
thinking about interviewing a new dentist to do dental work in your mouth?

Hmmmm...thinking back to when I just graduated, and recalling the type of office
that hired dentists by making them fill out an application, it seems that the
salient points are:
1. Are you willing to work for 30% of some really bad fees
2. Do you have a pulse

Ask for a resume...ask other dentists if they know any young dentists looking
for a position...contact a dental school and find out if they assist recent
graduates with finding positions. Are you looking for someone to really be a
part of your practice, or an extra pair of hands? I don't think a decent office
would trust their patients to people who come in and fill out an application,
but as someone once said, the times they are a changin', and I guess the
yardsticks I feel should be used for such measurements are getting outdated.
