Rip - 30 Nov 2004 08:21 GMT Has anyone had an NTI device and was happy with the results?
Steven Fawks - 30 Nov 2004 18:16 GMT I wear one, my wife wears one, my son wears one, my receptionist wears one, both assistants wear them, and I have made hundreds for patients.
Almost everyone is satisfied. The few that aren't usually haven't gotten through the first week trying one out.

Dr Steve - 01 Dec 2004 13:13 GMT Remember back in the fifties and sixties when everyone kept a picture of the US President hanging in their house and place of business. Especially after November 1963? You guys in Canada missed that fad. Usually it was the first thing you would see on entering the house or business.

When Mary got her new appartment, the very first thing she put up was to nail the wooden 'M' to the wall above the kitchen counter... Then she opined: 'I...... HATE it!....'
The very first night she was there; things still all in boxes and such, and the office gang comes over (You know, Lou, Murray, Ted, Georgette...) and Georgette comments: 'I just Love what you've done with it, Mary...'

When I stop to think about it, some of Molly's toys weigh that much. As I was feeding her dinner tonight, from the 50 lb. bag we keep in the 2'x2'x2' storage locker by the door, I wondered how long a 50 lb. bag of food would last. I mean ... her weight fluctuate 4.5 lbs and we don't even think about it. Then I thought, what happens if one woke up one day, with their dog losing a mere 4.5 lbs and poof it was gone, just disappeared into thin air. Then I thought Stove Pipes Wabbit has to weigh more than that.... You will have to send me a pic one day.

Must admit that the suggestions of a human female to a human male looking for suitable human female companionship, far exceeds the ability of the human male to give advice to the aforementioned subject.

StovePipe - 05 Dec 2004 01:41 GMT > That's what you get for thinking... > [quoted text clipped - 4 lines] > -- > W_B VERY cogent way of putting it.... FWIW, I *do* think you have a talent for poetry, and that is quite rare, BION. When I read it, I was all set to ask who wrote it. I'm not kidding: Just look at the music world; we both know a thing or two about guitar, but so do a lot of others. True poet-song-smiths? Not too many. And true poet-song-smiths-who-can-play? I'd say one in every two or three successful rock groups, but no more. The fact that you have both means (at lest IMHO) that you would have had a real chance in the music world, if you could stomach all the sh.t that goes down in it. That's where things would have fallen apart, I think. Again, FWIW I think you could sprinkle the walls of your clinique with pictures/photos and some of your lines under them. Would be a nice 'human' touch.
A while back, you suggested I do stand-up. Well, maybe one day, but you need at LEAST the twice the amount of material that you're going to use, because you have to 'play the audience', and that varies from performance to performance. I'm NOWHERE near that cut-off. Don't even know if I want to work that hard.
However, one way YOU might put your talents to work would be to write an illustrated childrens song-story about some teeth. Think about it...
Cheers SP

Then [quoted text clipped - 10 lines] > one-pound rabbit is a pretty small rabbit! -- and with attitude too! > TW WHAT an Idea!!!!! OH My GOD!!!! Seriously: I HAVE tried to weigh him on our bathroom scale by bringing it down. It's not sensitive enough to detect my weight as different from my weight plus a nervous little guy that I'm stroking and trying to keep calm. He's a miniature rabbit. I have a photo or two and I'll fish them out and post them. (Hard to get a close up, he keeps licking the camera Many animals do this with cameras. I don't know why.). It's rarely that he likes to be picked up. He'll walk all over you if you lie down, and especially if you've just run around in the hot sun (sweat has a lot of salt in it) he'll lick you to death. He'll eat your hair if you put your head down, he'll jump and play (supposedly rare for rabbits) but he really doesn't like to be picked up. When my wife is watching the little TeeVee sitting on the old couch in the kids' play room, he'll jump up beside her and tug at her sleeve until she strokes him and scratches behind his ears. He won't let her stop all the while she's sitting there. He's no dog, of course, but he's not as independent as most cats I know. When you come home, he wants his five minutes of stroking by way of greeting. He'd be a good snack for your dog.
Cheers SP

Your little rabbit probably does not need to be weighed unless he's ill anyway. Happy healthy rabbit = who cares if it's down a gram or two? Sick rabbit? Then an accurate scale would be needed.
