Need a new Oral-b. Which line cleans the best? What are the differences
between all the series?

I'm pretty sure that any toothbrush will do just a good of job as any
other one, provided you use it correctly. I'd find the one you like to
hold in your hands, and works well for you.

I like my electric one (not an Oral-B), but only because it has a
timer so I know how long to brush.

True. Like other things in life it's what you do with the instrument,
not the instrument itself.

Egg timers are cheap.

The Cochrane review on manual vs powered toothbrushes concluded that
only one type of electric toothbrush, the rotating oscillating
toothbrush, consistently demonstrated a statistically significant
benefit over manual toothbrushes. But as far as I know, pretty much
all the higher-end Oral-bs (those with a charger) are rotating
oscillating. For differences, see the oral-B website
(http://www.oralb.com/products/power/).

I give my patients the Cross-Action Soft.
Yes, it is what I myself use.
