I caution the use of these devices because they seal the dentinal tubules
while bacteria colonizes within. Bacteria are very adaptable!

Personally, I do not like to see any exposed dentin. I do many onlays in
cases of past grinding. I believe in very clean (reasonably/approaching
sterile) work where dentin is concerned.

Clogged tubles are bad, I know.
