Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What exactly is dentalReady!?
A: dentalReady! is a service that helps the dental industry solve
time-critical staffing problems.
Q: How does it work?
A: First, dental staffers post information relevant to their skills
and availability into our database.

Then - when a dental practice needs help - they access our database to
quickly find replacement staff members.

Q: Who benefits from your service?
A: dentalReady! may be the best way to solve time-critical employment
problems. When a dental office locates a responsive staffer through
the dentalReady! database, everyone benefits: dentist, staffer, and
patient!
Q: So, is dentalReady! only for temporary or fill-in assignments?
A: No. You can use the dentalReady! database to help solve
time-critical or longer-term employment challenges.
Q: How do I subscribe to your service?
A: Click on any "Sign Up Now" link
Q: How much does this service cost?
A: Our services are free to dental staff members who make themselves
available to work on short notice.

For dentists interested in hiring, dentalReady! costs around a quarter
per day, a fraction of the cost of just one newspaper advertisement or
employment agency fee.

Q: Why do you need my license number?
A: We display your license number so that others can verify your
credentials.

We also provide a phone number or link to each state's license
verification web site as a convenience to our member subscribers.

Q: Is dentalReady! an employment agency?
A: No, we are not an employment agency in the traditional sense. We
don't conduct interviews, verify past employment, or validate
credentials. Please see our disclaimer.

We compile a date-specific, location-specific database. Then we
facilitate contact between parties who share a mutual interest in
solving time-critical staffing problems.

Q: Why should I use dentalReady! instead of a traditional employment
agency?
A: We're less expensive and more responsive than a traditional
employment agency. There are no contracts, either. So, you should save
time and money and reduce the hassle associated with short term
employment.
Q: How do I know my dentalReady! contacts are who - and what - they
say they are.
A: Some of the information you provide - license, certificates,
professional credentials - are part of the public record. We display
that information to members so they can verify, to their mutual
satisfaction, the identity of their employment partners. Please see
our disclaimer.
Q: Will your service work in a small town?
A: dentalReady! works best in areas with high concentrations of
dentists and other dental professionals. Large numbers offer the most
opportunities. dentalReady! can be employed successfully in small
markets if participation levels are high.
Q: When a dentist queries your system, whose name comes up first?
A: The system displays the name of the person who first indicated
availability for that date, followed by the second person, etc.

The problem with those companies is that they always end you people who
cannot get a "regular" job (generally for a good reason), or people who
don't really want to work.
