Hi all,

I have developed a dental imaging application - actually a big improvement
on the current shipping one, that can use Intra Oral Cameras in a completely
different way. Really.

I am looking for 5 Dentists to trial it and provide feedback.
The trial is expected to be over a 6 week period - possibly with several
(tweaked) versions.

What we want from the trial:
Confidentiality
Feedback on use and improvement suggestions (based on real examinations)
Simple email reports.

What you get from it:
This trial will involve some real effort on your behalf and we are not
expecting you to do it for nothing!

Dentists that complete the trial & feedback will receive a free final
version of the test application's big brother 'Keyne Image Elite' which will
incorporate the new features. It also has a very advanced radiographic
analysis toolkit - with a year's free technical support (Email & Msn
Messenger). Several thousand dollar's worth!

Requirements:
Intra Oral Camera being routinely used in the surgery.
Computer in the surgery running Win 98SE, Win ME, Win2000 or Windows XP or
later

If the camera does not have a USB  video output, then you would need a video
capture device capable of capturing video from the camera.

Example USB2 TV/Video Capture device (About $50-$70 USD) or better still a
PCI / PCMCIA based capture card. ($35 - $80 USD)

Note:
This is a Beta Test so you can expect 'hiccups'.

Can we take existing images from the database and use it in the software for
testing, or does it require "real-time" use?

I would be willing to help if I could sit on my day off and import images
from patient records and test it for you.  Also, If you needed specific
views, I could save those views to the database as I am working "normally",
and have those specific image views available to use with your software
later.

Then again, if you think I am a shill for ES, you would not want me seeing
your product <g>.

Something which cuts into patient care, or something we can do on ourselves
or staff?

You could (technically)  fake it with the staff but I was looking for more
than a 'rainy afternoon' trial

Thanks all that replied.
Regretfully some could not be accepted. It does need some commitment
I still need 2 that fit the criteria

Any brave takers?

I would do it but don't meet all of the hardware requirements.

If I had the equipment, I'd say yes, as it is kind of like a research
project. Alas, such is not the case. Maybe next beta-project.
Thanks Anyways
