Recently, I have come in contact with patients who are on either Atkins,
South Beach or have had Gastric Bypass (therefore now on low carb diet) that
have had significant increases in tartar since beginning the diets...As a
hygienist, I would like to be able to provide any info to my patients
regarding this...

Has anyone heard of this or seen this in their practice?

Thanks for the replies.
