What's a frog? (beside a green hopping thing)

A troll impersonating another poster in an attempt to annoy them. It
comes from a miss-spelling of 'forgery' as it's not a true forgery
unless the impersonator posts with the victim's true email address.

An effort is underway to disrupt rec.photo.digital.

Please check the groups to which your Usenet responses
are cross-posted, and remove rec.photo.digital from this
list if it is included and not relevant to this group.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

fair enough request, and what did rec.photo do to upset some people then?
every group has a "no cross post" flamer, you can't just cull them.  If you're
experienced with a lot of groups, and you see a good thread about to finish
from all the interest it will get in one group, then you can target the cross post good
enough, and if people from those groups don't mind you you can get new
milage from the thread which would otherwise finish.  Maybe net etiquette
should have a new proviso, crossposting new topics should be limited but
reaching out once a topic is developed should be more targeted and so
promoted / allowable?

Don't have a dog, and the cat prefers to walk alone.

I could take the Parrot for a walk, but Mrs. Steve would beat me up.
Getting that little green family member down out of the neighbor's tree was
not fun.

Hadn't thought about that - screw it - clip the wing.

We keep her feathers clipped on both wings as low as you can without hurting
her.  We don't want to cut the flight muscles.

Not to worry, Rick.  After all they have to read all the photo stuff.
Must really bore and confuse them :-)
