I am a hygienist with years of experience...I recently worked for a doctor
(one day) that tells his patients not to use Listerine because it causes
oral cancer.  A long time ago, I did hear of this but haven't heard it again
until now.  Is there any truth to that?

There was some concern, esp. for smokers, because of the alcohol
content of many mouthwashes.  I think the concern should be minimal.
