Hi to all.
I'm a 62 y/o male. In the past couple of years I have lost three of my
teeth on the left side. Now my dentist tells me that the reason is the
bone density loss in my lower jaw. It needs treatment but it is not
covered by my insurance. My question to the group is : is there any
mineral or other supplement that could help me with this?  TIA

Your dentist is saying you've lost teeth due to osteoporosis?  Very
unlikely.  Periodontal disease responsible for most adult tooth loss is
a local phenomenon, and most treatment is aimed at local factors (with
some exceptions).  If your dentist is saying you need periodontal
treatment and that isn't covered by your dental insurance, that's
something else again.  There is no credible evidence that any
supplements have significant value (though I have heard claims for
Coenzyme Q10).  Generally speaking, a good diet for periodontal health
is a good diet for general health.

Hi,
You need to send me your OPG for further evaluation. There are no
supplements to increase bone density. You have to see your Periodontist
for bone grafts for improving bone density
