> Extraordinarily naive and impractical.
A socialist medical system - and that's what it is - is what we have
in UK. It works, nothing naive or impractical about it. Its certainly
criticisable, but virtually everyone gets medical cover. A good marker
for the result is a far lower neonatal fatality rate than the US.

That rate is bad in the U.S. but it is at least as much a sociological
problem as a medical one. Many of those who are in these statistics
are poor and eligible for free medical care either through Medicaid or
other programs. They still don't seek medical care.

Any comments on the UK lack of dental care, the waiting
lines, or the places that tell you not to bother to come in,
cause you won't get treated?
