Every time I take off a healing abutment I see very red or cherry red inflammation around the implant circumference. I also sometimes see this under the pontic of 3 unit bridges. I recently took off a healing cap placed almost 2 years and it was there. It doesn't extend too far, but I wonder if all implants have this chronic inflammation. BTW *my* personal #8 implant has no surrounding inflammation. How do you explain that ? Prolly not in your vanity book either, I bet. We thought you knew everything?
