Children don't get Periodontal disease.  WHY?  Because P.D. doesn't     follow Koch's postulates.

Any bacteria infection that causes disease in children will cause
disease in adults.   And any bacteria infection in adults will cause
the same infection in children.    Koch's postulates makes no
distinctions between children diseases and adult diseases.

Even calculus,  does it really cause any disease in children?

It easy for dentists to say the cause of P.D  is plaque and that you
are not brushing enough.

This one of the reasons periodontal surgery doesn't work.
