DENTISTS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF INSURANCE....

....by booking more cleaning appointments than necessary.

Like a cleaning that used to take only one visit, they will
purposefully break up into 2 or even more visits, just so that
they can then charge the patient, instead of just the insurance
company, which usually only covers 2 dental cleanings per
year.

They will bullshit that the reason they can only do
1/4 of the cleaning at a time, is because they are doing a
"deep cleaning", and that they cannot do this in one visit.

What a crock of sh.t.  And besides the extra
money they rip off from the customers, it's super
inconvenient to leave work that often.

And they know they can usually get away with
it, because the insurance covers 2 of the visits, while
the patient will pay out of pocket for the extra visits,
just because most people will pay anything to keep
their teeth.

Too bad most dentists are super greedy.

Too bad most patients won't brush and floss twice daily.

       But i've always done that.

So you agreed this is a problem?  So many
dentists string out the visit unecessarily, just to make
more money.....shameful.

Never said that.

However, your grammar is atrocious, and
your punctuation is pitiful.

Sorry, forgot to tell you, Paul <Quiller123>,
your premise is rejected.

And you attempts at being an English
teacher on a mere NG are laughable.

Please proof read before posting.

It is not very difficult to demonstrate foolishness
with so much help from the target.

I'm the one laughing, at *you* of course.

HFS!

OK, Biatch.

Come get some, if you think your big enough.

      Wow, such wit!

I brush twice daily and floss a couple of times a week.  Most of my
problems occur where floss is irrelevant.

That's why Algodones was so refreshing.  Appointments by email, 4 hours
at a time in the chair, and everything gets done in a week.  If I want
the usual xray-cleaning-exam (which used to take an hour) I have to make
an appointment 2 weeks in advance and then wait another 2 weeks for the
cleaning.

Screw it.  Next time I'm going to the PCC hygienists' school for
cleaning.  If I need work I'll go back to Algodones. Drive 260 miles,
get it done, drive 260 miles back home.

My butt can take it!

One tried that on me.  She gave several different reasons for the second
visit, but the real reason was that she was slow and just didn't finish
in the alotted time.  When billed for the second visit I called half a
dozen dentists' offices and determined that the cow was simply trying to
rip me off.  Accordingly, I wrote a letter to the dentist (since the
bill came on his letterhead) explaining exactly why I didn't intend to
pay unless he sued and won.  (Always ask for a real judge, the
"magistrates" are useless if there's any controversy.)

That was the last I heard of it.  It was a lousy cleaning, too.

This was probably a greedy -- and stupid -- hygienist.  Sometimes I
don't mind getting people fired.
