I was on this board a while ago.  I have a recurring blister on the
inside of my lower lip.  The blister seems to contain a clear fluid.
It forms and breaks all within 24 hours or less.  Then it seems to go
away completely.  A few weeks to a month later I get the same thing in
the same place.  This has been going on for about 5 months.

Is this something that I should address with my dentist or my doctor?
Is it anything to worry about?

Thanks

You are almost certainly right that this is a mucocoele (mucous
retention cyst) of a minor salivary gland in the lip.  I've had them
myself.  Assuming this is one gland, it's probably a good idea to have
it removed to prevent recurrence.  Mucocoeles of this type are an
annoyance, not dangerous.
You should also note any sharp edges on the teeth that close adjacent
to this area, and if present have your dentist smooth them.  Some
patients also have a nervous habit of biting their lip.  You'd know if
this is the case.
